Minuteman kicked off the month of June by adding a new account! Please join us in welcoming Ralph’s grocery store on 9th and Flower in Downtown Los Angeles. This Ralph’s location is one of the nicest in the area, and they hired Minuteman to help smooth over their parking lot operations and maintain a high-end customer experience.

Minuteman will be managing the lot and providing services from 5 a.m.-2 a.m. seven days per week. This is a great addition to our ever-growing Downtown Los Angeles portfolio! What a great way to kick off the Summer!

Team Minuteman is officially the Best Darn Stompers in the city of Long Beach! This month we participated in the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Crescendo in Blue wine stomp fundraiser to benefit the Symphony. Our team won the wine stomp and helped raise over $10,000 for the Symphony! There were four teams participating in the stomp relay, and each team had to get votes from Crescendo attendees to see who could raise the most money.

Team Minuteman took home the fancy wine boot awards and we are honored to be of help to the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra. The night entailed a silent auction, the wine stomp relay, dinner, and some amazing live music performances. It was such a blast and we encourage you to come out and stomp with us next year!

This week Minuteman Parking is proudly celebrating… you guessed it! National Hospital Week. Every year since 1921 this week is celebrated by communities and healthcare professionals throughout the country. The American Hospital Association has been sponsoring National Hospital Week since it’s inception as a time to reflect on the important role that hospitals and medical facilities across the country do for us as citizens. Many hospitals provide more to their communities than just medical advice and practice.

So join us in celebrating National Hospital Week by thanking your local healthcare professionals for everything they do! We are proud to serve our growing portfolio of hospitals and medical facilities throughout the West Coast. Minuteman would like to extend a sincere Thank You to all of our healthcare partners! We appreciate all that you do!

Minuteman is taking over the nation one hospital at a time! We added a second medical facility to our portfolio this month with Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.

Providence Holy Cross is a 377- bed, not-for-profit medical facility founded in 1961. Their medical campus prides themselves on a full continuum of health care, from inpatient and outpatient services to home health care, health education, and community outreach programs. They have a state-of-the-art Cancer Center and a Level II Trauma Center.

Minuteman will be providing valet and self-parking services to the medical center’s patients and visitors Monday through Friday. We are excited to be continuing our partnership with Providence Health!

Minuteman is welcoming a new medical facility to the family- Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center located just north of Los Angeles. Minuteman was recently awarded the contract with Saint Joseph, and began services on Wednesday, May 1st to kick off the new month! We are very excited to add another Providence Health location to our growing list of hospitals and medical facilities!

Providence Saint Joseph is a 446 bed medical facility located in Burbank, CA. They are the second largest hospital serving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. They are known for their state-of-the-art technology and quality compassionate care. Minuteman will be providing valet and self parking services at the medical center Monday through Friday. We can’t wait to start improving their patient and visitor experience!

We would like to give a shout out to Minuteman Employees at St. Bernardine Medical Center for their outstanding service! Our team at St. B’s definitely knows how to take care of their patients and visitors. A visitor at the medical center gave them this Thank You card along with a batch of homemade cookies to our valet team to express her and her husband’s gratitude and appreciation for our service. Our guys made their experience a whole lot easier during the couples’ stay at the medical center, and we were extremely grateful to receive this kind of appreciation. This is why we do what we do best!

Minuteman was recently nominated “Best Valet” in the South Bay in Easy Reader Magazine! After visiting our location at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, Easy Reader editor Randy Angel was so wowed by our service that he personally awarded us this recognition and published an article in their online publication. Minuteman was the first parking services company to ever be nominated in the magazine, and we were among 100 other nominees, including Best Gym, Best Sports Bar, and many others.

Minuteman is kicking off March Madness with 2 brand new locations! We officially started services at Marina Square and the Marina Business Center in Marina Del Rey on March 1st. We will be providing parking management services for the Business Center Monday-Friday, and at the Marina Square Monday-Thursday. We now operate a total of 6 buildings in the Marina Del Rey area, and counting!

Minuteman is very excited at the growing rate of our business and office buildings portfolio. What a great way to kick off Spring! Welcome to the family!

Minuteman is extremely excited to announce the opening of our first new hotel account in 2013! We were awarded the contract with the very classy Hotel Zetta at the beginning of this year, and we have officially started valet services there this week. The Hotel Zetta is a 116-room luxury hotel boasting an innovative, creative vibe in one of the edgiest cities in the country. They are located in the heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district, walking distance to Union Square.

Minuteman will be providing 24 hour valet service for hotel travelers, guests, and local professionals. San Francisco is a hub of new businesses technology, and we can’t wait to keep spreading our services throughout the Bay Area!

Congratulations to Herney Pillimue, Minuteman’s 2012 Manager of the Year! Minuteman held their Annual Manager’s Meeting in January, and each year one Manager is chosen to receive the Manager of the Year award based on their overall performance and service scores at their location. Herney is our Account Manager at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Palm Springs. He received the best combined scores in 2012 compared to all other managers, and therefore was awarded this highly honorable achievement from Minuteman.

Minuteman holds their Annual Manager’s Meeting every January to reconvene as a team. This gives us the chance to discuss the previous year’s achievements, areas for improvement, and where we’re headed for the upcoming year. We also have some awesome guest speakers at every meeting, and it’s a great way to bond as a family! We are excited about the upcoming year and there is lots in store for Minuteman in 2013. Congrats again to Herney on a job very well done!
