Saving Lives one Driveway at a Time

Minuteman has the great pleasure of acknowledging Mr. James Prestel, Traffic Safety Attendant (TSA) at St. Joseph hospital. Jim and the rest of the St. Joe’s Security Team have done an outstanding job in demonstrating the kind of care and customer service Minuteman Parking aims to give all their clients. James’ commitment to excellence and care was demonstrated when he came to the aid of the Security Department at St. Joseph’s. James performed emergency CPR on a patient before the Security team could get there. He contributed to saving a life, and was able to step up and deliver under an extremely high-pressure situation.

It is this kind of attitude and ability to help others that continues to make a positive and memorable first and last impression of both the hospital and Minuteman Parking. Congratulations James on your honorable recognition, and thank you for your dedication. Keep up the good work!

Extraordinary Service

Congratulations to Minuteman’s Driveway Ambassador, Cheyne Bado, for being chosen as the June 2012 Team Member of the Month at The Sainte Claire Hotel in San Jose! Cheyne has been recognized by the General Manager of the hotel and the rest of the staff as the top contributor to the hotel’s team for the month of June. You can always find him in front of the hotel offering a warm welcome and a fond farewell to all the guests, and doing so with a smile!

Minuteman was awarded the contract with The Sainte Claire just earlier this year. We are honored that Cheyne is being recognized for exhibiting Minuteman’s “Excellence in Service” standards. Cheyne has been making positive impressions on hotel guests and helping the valet parking operations at The Sainte Claire become one of their most valuable assets. Keep up the good work, Cheyne!

The Marriott Torrance Has Been An MPC Customer Since 2003

Minuteman Parking Manager Ron Machón received a special “Recognition to Service Excellence” award from the Torrance Marriott recently.  Only four associates from each property are recognized each quarter, and Ron was the only vendor recognized for his efforts.

“Exceptional customer service is one of the cornerstones for Minuteman Parking and it is wonderful that one of our employees is recognized for his efforts by one of our customers.  This award is a tribute to the hard work and dedication to customer service that Ron brings to everything he does,” says Minuteman Parking President Chris Fox.

Ron just completed his 1-year anniversary at the Torrance Marriott in May.  However, Ron has been working for Minuteman Parking since 2004 when he started out as a valet at the Marina Del Rey Marriott while attending college.  Ron graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2007 with a BS degree, majoring in criminal justice and minoring in Human Development.  In his spare time, Ron enjoys riding motorcycles.
