Minuteman is welcoming a new medical facility to the family- Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center located just north of Los Angeles. Minuteman was recently awarded the contract with Saint Joseph, and began services on Wednesday, May 1st to kick off the new month! We are very excited to add another Providence Health location to our growing list of hospitals and medical facilities!

Providence Saint Joseph is a 446 bed medical facility located in Burbank, CA. They are the second largest hospital serving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. They are known for their state-of-the-art technology and quality compassionate care. Minuteman will be providing valet and self parking services at the medical center Monday through Friday. We can’t wait to start improving their patient and visitor experience!

Minuteman is kicking off March Madness with 2 brand new locations! We officially started services at Marina Square and the Marina Business Center in Marina Del Rey on March 1st. We will be providing parking management services for the Business Center Monday-Friday, and at the Marina Square Monday-Thursday. We now operate a total of 6 buildings in the Marina Del Rey area, and counting!

Minuteman is very excited at the growing rate of our business and office buildings portfolio. What a great way to kick off Spring! Welcome to the family!

Minuteman is extremely excited to announce the opening of our first new hotel account in 2013! We were awarded the contract with the very classy Hotel Zetta at the beginning of this year, and we have officially started valet services there this week. The Hotel Zetta is a 116-room luxury hotel boasting an innovative, creative vibe in one of the edgiest cities in the country. They are located in the heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district, walking distance to Union Square.

Minuteman will be providing 24 hour valet service for hotel travelers, guests, and local professionals. San Francisco is a hub of new businesses technology, and we can’t wait to keep spreading our services throughout the Bay Area!

Minuteman has the great pleasure of acknowledging Mr. James Prestel, Traffic Safety Attendant (TSA) at St. Joseph hospital. Jim and the rest of the St. Joe’s Security Team have done an outstanding job in demonstrating the kind of care and customer service Minuteman Parking aims to give all their clients. James’ commitment to excellence and care was demonstrated when he came to the aid of the Security Department at St. Joseph’s. James performed emergency CPR on a patient before the Security team could get there. He contributed to saving a life, and was able to step up and deliver under an extremely high-pressure situation.

It is this kind of attitude and ability to help others that continues to make a positive and memorable first and last impression of both the hospital and Minuteman Parking. Congratulations James on your honorable recognition, and thank you for your dedication. Keep up the good work!

Yesterday was Minuteman’s official grand opening of our first account of 2013, City of Hope hospital! We spent a beautiful, sunny morning in Duarte, California introducing ourselves to the community. City of Hope is one of only 41 National Cancer Institutes designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. Founded almost 100 years ago, COH was ranked as one of “America’s Best Hospitals” in cancer. They have 185 beds and over 670 registered nurses working towards a healthier community.

Minuteman is extremely honored to be awarded the contract with such an outstanding hospital. We can’t think of a better way to start off the New Year and look forward to providing stellar valet and shuttle services for their patients and visitors. Welcome to the family, City of Hope!

Last week Minuteman got beautifully bronzed in sunny Hollywood, Florida at the National Parking Association Annual Convention. This year’s conference was the first time Minuteman played in the Valet Olympics competition, and not only did we have a great time, but we won third place out of nine teams! We are extremely proud of our valet attendants for a job well done and spreading the Minuteman spirit!

The National Parking Association (NPA) holds the Valet Olympics in conjunction with their Annual Convention every Fall. The conference is a great way to meet and network with industry professionals and is open to both members and nonmembers. So come meet and greet next year at the 2013 annual meeting and bring your game for some parking competition!

This week Minuteman spent two beautiful days in the sunshine at the Performing Arts Center in gorgeous downtown Long Beach. We had the honor of providing stellar valet services for the event “Creating Audi Fans.” This was a two day convention that required 25 valet attendants for Audi dealers, owners, Executives- you name it! Approximately 450 people attended each day to discuss and learn everything Audi; “Audi brings people together,” and so does Minuteman! Not only was it a great way to soak up some rays, but we got to park some really cool cars in the process! Minuteman has thoroughly enjoyed all of our events with the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. The Audi Convention was a huge success, and we are so thankful for this opportunity. We look forward to working with the Long Beach Convention Center again and furthering our relationship!

We are so proud of fellow employee Tu Sam for providing such excellent service as to receive this personal letter of recognition! Tu is the Account Manager at the Seattle Airport Marriott, and has been Revolutionizing Hospitality with Minuteman for over 8 years now. Tu continues to consistently deliver excellent customer service and exceed our standards and expectations. He sets the precedent for all other Minuteman employees and staff in keeping up the Minuteman spirit! Excellent job, Tu!

Congratulations to Minuteman’s Driveway Ambassador, Cheyne Bado, for being chosen as the June 2012 Team Member of the Month at The Sainte Claire Hotel in San Jose! Cheyne has been recognized by the General Manager of the hotel and the rest of the staff as the top contributor to the hotel’s team for the month of June. You can always find him in front of the hotel offering a warm welcome and a fond farewell to all the guests, and doing so with a smile!

Minuteman was awarded the contract with The Sainte Claire just earlier this year. We are honored that Cheyne is being recognized for exhibiting Minuteman’s “Excellence in Service” standards. Cheyne has been making positive impressions on hotel guests and helping the valet parking operations at The Sainte Claire become one of their most valuable assets. Keep up the good work, Cheyne!
