We would like to give a shout out to Minuteman Employees at St. Bernardine Medical Center for their outstanding service! Our team at St. B’s definitely knows how to take care of their patients and visitors. A visitor at the medical center gave them this Thank You card along with a batch of homemade cookies to our valet team to express her and her husband’s gratitude and appreciation for our service. Our guys made their experience a whole lot easier during the couples’ stay at the medical center, and we were extremely grateful to receive this kind of appreciation. This is why we do what we do best!

Congratulations to Herney Pillimue, Minuteman’s 2012 Manager of the Year! Minuteman held their Annual Manager’s Meeting in January, and each year one Manager is chosen to receive the Manager of the Year award based on their overall performance and service scores at their location. Herney is our Account Manager at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Palm Springs. He received the best combined scores in 2012 compared to all other managers, and therefore was awarded this highly honorable achievement from Minuteman.

Minuteman holds their Annual Manager’s Meeting every January to reconvene as a team. This gives us the chance to discuss the previous year’s achievements, areas for improvement, and where we’re headed for the upcoming year. We also have some awesome guest speakers at every meeting, and it’s a great way to bond as a family! We are excited about the upcoming year and there is lots in store for Minuteman in 2013. Congrats again to Herney on a job very well done!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Mal Kenney, Minuteman’s new Vice President of Hotel Operations! A Scottsdale, Arizona, native, Mal joins Minuteman with nearly 15 years in the parking industry. Mal’s area of oversight will be operations for the company’s hotel vertical.

Mal’s time away from work is spent running, cooking, and being with friends and family. When he’s not logging crazy amounts of mileage, he can be found rooting for the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco Giants. He realized a long-term goal of his upon relocating to Southern California and moving to the South Bay.

Minuteman is proud to announce that we have been awarded the valet parking contract with Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. We are excited to start Revolutionizing Hospitality at both Providence Portland and Providence St. Vincent Medical Centers this month.

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is a 523-bed facility, and is renowned for many of its centers’ excellence, including Heart and Vascular Institutes, as well as Maternity services. Their team is committed to integrity, compliance, and supporting their community.

Minuteman is starting the summer off right! We have been awarded the contract to provide valet services at Hoag Huntington Beach Health Center! We are honored to add them to our extensive list of hospital clientele in the West.

The Huntington Beach Medical Center offers more than 45 physicians in 16 different specialties. Hoag consists of 2 acute care hospitals in Newport Beach and Irvine, as well as a network of 7 health centers, 1,200 physicians, 5,000 employees, and 2,000 volunteers- all committed to providing excellent healthcare to Orange County residents.

Minuteman will be providing valet services Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.. What better way to kick off the summer than in Surf City? Welcome to the family, Hoag Huntington Beach!

Minuteman is starting the New Year off right with our first hospital in 2012! Meet the newest addition- California Hospital Medical Center. California Hospital is our first medical center in Downtown LA. This hospital is a member of Dignity Health, formerly known as Catholic Hospital West (CHW), and has been providing medical care to to Southern California residents since 1887. Their list of medical services includes but is not limited to: cancer care, orthopedics, surgical services, ICU, emergency and trauma services, and maternity care. California Hospital is also a proud participant of multiple community organizations and health awareness courses.

Minuteman Parking will be taking care of California Hospital Monday-Friday, while they are taking care of their patients. We look forward to working with the hospital and improving patient flow!
